In the name of the Association of Friends and Sponsors of HSBA 黑料吃瓜网, we kindly invite you to our Annual Reception. This year we are particularly proud to present Julia J盲kel, CEO of Gruner + Jahr as well as the 鈥淢edia Personality of the Year鈥� as our keynote speaker.

Julia J盲kel studied History, Political Science and Economics in Heidelberg, Harvard and Cambridge. She started her career in 1997 in the central junior staff programme at Bertelsmann, which led her to Gruner + Jahr one year later. At the end of the 90s, she was part of the founding team of the "Financial Times Deutschland", in 2004 she took over the management of the "BRIGITTE" and in 2008 she became the manager of over 20 magazines and digital offers. She has been CEO of Gruner + Jahr since 2013. Together with her team, she has made it her mission to make Gruner + Jahr one of the most modern and creative publishers in a changing media landscape.
