Accommodation: Each of the four student dormitories at the university has 6-10 floors with 20 rooms per floor. The floors are divided into male and female sections.
Each room is equipped with its own bed, a wardrobe, a private bathroom for the room's occupants, and a desk.
Transportation: You can reach almost any place in Hong Kong by train in under an hour. The bus system is also very convenient (the view from the double-decker bus is fantastic).
Acvities and more: Shopping at K11 Mall, hiking, eating out affordably, sightseeing.
Making phone calls with a German number can become quite expensive over time, so it's advisable to purchase a SIM card locally. Additionally, the internet in Hong Kong is excellent, and you can get a connection almost everywhere.

Accommodation: The university has four Residential Colleagues. Each of them have 8-10 floors with one shared kitchen on each floor. The floors are divided into females and males. When moving in, the room provides a bunk bed with a desk, a wardrobe, and a private bathroom for the each room.
City: The city is an underrated gem in my opinion. It has everything from a vibrant city to beautiful beaches and hikes. The public transportation is excellent like a lot of Asian transportation systems. As a tip it is useful to obtain the “octopus card” which is like a prepaid card where you can add money and use it for various payments. At the half of the month you get 25% of the transportation costs back.
Activities: Shopping in the various malls, hiking in the amazing nature or chilling at the beach where one of my favorite activities. At the night you can enjoy the bars and the clubs in the city center. I was also part of the football team and participated in various training sessions and games. I received also club utilities from the university. Furthermore, I went many times to Shenzhen which is really convenient through our visa-free entry with the German passport. The city next to Hong Kong is the most modern city I have witnessed during my trip and the high consumption in the city through the high purchasing makes it a fun day trip. Macao is also a must visit especially if you’re 21 years old.
